Learning how to work with others can be challenging proposition for young children. However, it is important to give the children different opportunities to work together to complete tasks to promote cooperation and improve communication while having fun. Some of our children decided to put a giant floor puzzle together in one of our centers. They were constantly communicating to find the right pieces and collaborating to put the puzzle together. When they were asked which one easier, to work together or to work alone to finish the puzzle, they all agreed that working together was easier.
